Dance training and concert performance are our focus and our passion!  Founded by Gary Geis, we've spent more than 30 years training dancers of all ages.  When you enroll at the Gary Geis School of Dance, you get more than a dance education from experienced, professional staff, you're also joining a supportive, creative and fun-loving dance family and community! Children and adults from across Springfield and nearby turn to Gary Geis School of Dance when they’re looking for the opportunity to learn and succeed in something new and exciting.

 

We believe everyone can dance... real classes for real people.  We offer excellent training for children (starting at age 3), teens and adults in ballet, jazz, modern, pointe, tap, belly dance, and Zumba and have many levels for beginners and advanced dancers.  Our ballet fundamentals for adults and our pre-ballet for children are the best ways to introduce yourselves and your family to dance!  See our class schedule for more information!

 

We have four, spacious studios with state-of-the-art sprung floors with 15-foot ceilings and large windows allowing for natural lighting. We have dressing rooms, room in our lobby for parents to either watch class or relax while waiting.  We have free wifi access and free parking in the adjacent parking garage.  The school is conveniently located in the renovated historic Bushnell Building, second floor, in the heart of downtown Springfield.
